A one eyed floating robot design.

Re-worked from an old sketchbook piece that was originally drawn for the March of Robots Instagram art challenge.

I’ve always felt that my robot designs have owed a great deal to those designed by Russ Manning for the Magnus Robot Fighter comics.

My first exposure to the character was a re-printed story in a TV Tornado comic annual. I have no idea why the strip appeared in something that was supposed to be based n television shows.

The pencils for this dragon design have languished in my files for a number of years. I finally imported the scan into clip studio paint where I “inked” and coloured it.

I have no idea why, but cats love boxes.
